Refund Policy
When you get your money back for a Simbird eSIM plan, how to ask for it and how refunds are paid. This policy is part of our Terms of Use.

At a glance
- eSIM not installed: full refund when you ask within 30 days of delivery.
- eSIM installed but never connected: full refund once the in-app connection check confirms it or our support team reviews it, within 30 days of delivery. The eSIM is then deactivated.
- Data already used, an expired plan, a top-up or a change in your travel plans: a person reviews your request case by case, and a partial refund is possible.
- Order not delivered: you are not charged, and the hold on your card is released.
- Customers in the EU and the UK: a 14-day right of withdrawal, described below.
If you have not installed the eSIM
If you have not installed the eSIM, you get a full refund when you ask within 30 days of delivery. Ask in the app (Account › Receipts, choose the order, then Request a refund) or email info@odbs.tech with your order number. When we refund it, the eSIM is cancelled and can no longer be installed.
If the eSIM is installed but never connected
If you installed the eSIM but it never connected to a network and no data was used, open the eSIM in My eSIMs and run the connection check. When the check confirms that the eSIM never connected, you can request a full refund on the order in Account › Receipts. You can also write to us instead; our support team then reviews the eSIM’s status with the network supplier.
Ask within 30 days of delivery. After the refund, the eSIM is deactivated and can no longer be used.
Other cases
If data has already been used, the plan has expired, the order was a top-up, your travel plans changed or you ask more than 30 days after delivery, a person reviews your request. We look at what happened, including the eSIM’s status and the usage reported by the network supplier, and may offer a partial refund. Use Request a refund in the app or write to us; if the app cannot refund an order, it tells you to write to us.
Orders that could not be delivered
At checkout we only authorize the amount; we charge it when your eSIM is ready. If we cannot deliver your eSIM, we cancel the order and release the hold, so you are not charged. Your bank decides how long the hold stays visible on your statement.
Right of withdrawal in the EU and the UK
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.
A plan is a service that can start right away. At checkout we therefore ask you to expressly request delivery of the eSIM at once and to acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the plan has been fully used. We keep a record of that request.
If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund the part of the plan you have not used; if the eSIM was never installed or never connected, you get a full refund as described above. To withdraw, tap Request a refund on the order in Account › Receipts, or email info@odbs.tech with your order number and a statement that you withdraw from the purchase. We reply by email.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method (the card you paid with, including a card used through Apple Pay), in US dollars. We cannot send a refund to another card or pay it out in cash.
Once we issue a refund, your bank or card issuer usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show it. If your card is in another currency, the amount you see can differ slightly from the original charge because of the exchange rate your bank uses.
Card disputes
If a charge looks wrong, please write to us first: we can usually solve it faster than a card dispute. This does not limit your right to contact your bank.
